| So while I was getting ready to make a nice cup of green tea, my brother was asking a question about girls and based off my reply that was based off a song he asked if I had a girlfriend. I told him I don't have one and he was actually interested in why I don't have a girlfriend. My younger brother is actually interested in something about me without trying to mocking me like my older brother. I mean my older brother does give advice like you all do. It's just surprising to me that he is interested in stuff about me. We both look up to my older brother, but he wasn't interested in stuff about me like that before. I didn't answer him yet, but I am quite flattered that my younger brother is showing interest. Hopefully he will be willing to learn a few things from me in the near future. I'm not my older brother, but I kind of wish that he kind of looks up to me too. | |

As for you older brother taking interest - Early twenties is a weird friggin' time in a normal person's life. The whole mating and dating ritual is a bit surreal to be honest.
So when you have an older person perking to attention, it's kinda like they're analysing others going through the obstacle course they once did to see if maybe they can finally make sense of something that they long ago shrugged off and put on life's mysteries' backburner. |
