So Imma gonna get tank!

I've decided I'm gonna get some muscle on me
I find it very attractive on others so why not get it on me eh?

But some tips would be appreciated.

Currently I'm doing about 50-100 push ups throughout the day. In lots of about 20 or thirty.
I also try to do about at least 30 sit ups, it's just hard because I wear belts alot and they make
it painful to do.

I eat alright and don't walk much. I'm going to try to start going for a 40 minute walk
every arvo down to the cemetary, which is very calming but I doubt that it does much for me
physically.


But what would people suggset?
Keeping in mind it's muscle mass I'd really like to gain

Hit the gym dude, start pumping iron.

I used to be pretty ripped huh, i gymed it 3 times a week for 18 months

Then i turned 18 My 6pack was replaced with a keg

But serious man gym is the only way to go.. Muscle is built by tearing them and them repairing themselves therefore getting bigger.. or so i have heard?

Im goin back soon, just bought a bike so i can go for a ride every arvo

Gyms are heaps expensive though which is a real shame.

But yeah, I'll try to get into one!

You can buy weights to use at home. Money isnt an option unless you want to make it one.

You can get fit without it costing anything

50-100 push-ups throughout a day won't do crap. you have to work for it bud. Start lifting, doing pryamid sets first to gain size. *a good hour a day should give you some nice results* Then switch to sets of 10 to make those muscles larger and keep switching back and forth every 2 weeks or so. Don't max out everyday and also switch daily focusing more on lower and upper body. Also, make sure you eat lots of protein. A good body builder will eat one pound of protein for one pound of muscle gain. This is what the weight lifting champion of my state and teacher told me and my weightlifting classmates once back in school. It works.

Everyone's body is different. Depending on how many sets you do, you're training for different things. From what I've read and understand you're leaning more so towards endurance training rather than strength. I do endurance training. No the ex cerises have not made me put on muscle and get "ripped" but I've been able to add more weight and go longer than I did before.

You need to find out what works foryou we can tell you what our routines are but they may not help you. They might even hurt you. It's a conscious choice you're making to change your life style, on top of changing and/or adding to your exercise regiment. You are not competing with anyone but your current limits.

PS- Do not exercise to muscle failure. You are teaching your body to fail when it's put under stress. Very bad. You probably already knew that but I wanted to be sure. And give yourself a day or two off from the work outs. Your joints will thank you when you're older.
