I thought of this thing the other day regarding the X Factor.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they could somehow make it so that each phone could only register one vote?

Not so much interesting as an encouragement for people to get a few more mobile phones.

I don't know, there was the whole thing last year were thousands of people reported that Rhydian's phone line was blocked...

I just think that phones should only be able to vote once so that the families of contestants can't phone in 400 times, it's not fair

I honestly think its entirely fixed by the producers, thats why they give out like ?50,000 at the end of it. Its a small gift in return for robbing our arses.

If phones could only vote once the strong singers would not be leaving, and people that belong on cruiseships and pub karaoke machines (*Cough* Daniel *Cough*) would have been out a long time ago.

If the producers aren't fixing it it's being fixed by the families of the contestants!

Totally agree, and if people weren't allowed to tell their sob stories, again i think people like Daniel would have left by now! He seems like a nice enough dude but compared to the likes of Diana (completely unique) or Alexandra (amazing vocal) he just doesnt match up!!
