Do people deserve second chances?

do you belive in second chances for ex's?

my ex and i split up 2 n half years ago, weve talked ever since, but obviously never been that close, mainly because i loved him with all my heart and he broke it ending it with me...

basically i recently split up with another guy about a week ago, and since then my old ex started talking too me more he then said...

"Look emma, im so so so sorry for how i ended it, i was immature and not sure on what i wanted...but all the time ive been away from you and not been with you...ive realised you are all ive wanted...i was wondering if you would mind if we met up? as friends of course, i dont want too put pressure on you at all....everytime i saw you were with someone else it just made me think it should have been me...i was an idiot too ever let you go, and i never want too ever again, all these 2 years ive never been with another girl because i only wanted you...

has anyone ever given an ex another chance?

I never have. I've hooked back up for an evening, but that's it.

I think that some people do,it just depends on how they treated you in the past

havent a clue....he was sooooo immature when we were first going out...

hes changed SO much...he sounded like a man on the phone, not a 16 year old boy who i used too see..

hes 20 this year, and i know age doesnt reflect maturity...but i was seriously shocked about what hes done in the past 2 years and how much he seems too have changed.

I think people deserve second chances. I say meet up with guy who knows he might actually be sincere.

For me, it kind of depends on what they have already done. Personally, I don't really like to give people second chances because they might think that they can control you and can easily manipulate you to believe them. But. That's just me.

i agree. People can mature alot during that age bracket.

I say go for it, personally i think life is too short, if it doesnt work out, you know never to do it again, take it slow and dont get too attached and let your heart get broken again. Lifes waaaaaaaaay to short to let the little things matter. Do what you want, dont worry about the morality.

I've never given an ex a second chance. BUT my cousin ended up giving a guy a second chance. They've been married for 10 years and have a little boy together

I went back to my ex 3 years after our divorce b/c at the time I thought thats what i wanted, plus we had ason together. We were back together for almost a year when i left again. At least I can say I did everything i could to make it work. For some people it does.
