I know, it's one of those forgotten court cases that leaps back into the news whenever anything interesting happens in the proceedings.

It is, of course, ironic that a man who wanted to promote cross-cultural cohesion would do something so obviously unacceptable in Western culture. But if the TV channel was only trying to re-brand Islam and cover up its non-West-friendly parts, he probably wasn't doing much for cohesion anyway.
